On Saturday, a fuel trailer was stolen from a business in Butte County, California. A few days later, law enforcement officials found the abandoned trailer on the side of the road near Palermo Honcut Highway and Lower Honcut Road, along with a man and his truck. After conducting an investigation, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as the thief and arrested him for grand theft and possession of stolen property.
In addition to the man, a woman who was found to be associated with him was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Both individuals were taken into custody by the BCSO. The stolen trailer was then returned to its rightful owner.
