Rossi is thrilled about the opportunity to learn from experienced professors in the earth science program at the University of Delaware. She believes that collaboration and active engagement in class are key to making the course enjoyable and effective. Despite initial concerns about social interactions due to the pandemic, Rossi found the campus environment to be welcoming and conducive to forming new friendships.
As she looks ahead, Rossi plans to pursue a master of science in environmental science and management at the University of Delaware in 2024. She is excited about the relatively new program and hopes to contribute to its growth from day one. Rossi intends to focus on the climate track and is particularly interested in working on policy related to renewable energy, particularly offshore wind.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Rossi is passionate about sharing her knowledge of earth science with others. She believes it’s important for people to understand complex scientific concepts and their impact on our environment. With this goal in mind, she plans to inspire others by teaching high school science classes after graduating from college.
