From Buenos Aires to the Battlefield: Tragic Loss of Argentine Hostage in Gaza

On Tuesday, Israel confirmed the death of one of the Argentines who was taken hostage by Hamas. Lior Rudaeff, 61 years old, was murdered on October 7 and his body remains kidnapped in Gaza. Lior Rudaeff had moved with his family from Buenos Aires to Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak when he was just eight years old. He grew up with a passion for cycling and loved listening to popular Israeli musician Shlomo Artzi’s music. His death has left behind a profound impact on those who knew him and on his family, who will forever miss him dearly.
