
Foundation Receives Grants to Promote Proactive Mental Health Care for Children
The Superior Health Foundation recently announced the recipients of proactive pediatric mental health grants during its fall grant award celebration. Six organizations, including Michigan State University – Department of Pediatrics and Human Development, Upper Peninsula Health Care Solutions, Inc., Great Lakes Recovery Centers, Inc., Catholic Social Services of the Upper Peninsula, Northern Michigan University, and Marquette-Alger RESA, received a total of $722,065.93 in funding.
The Pediatric Mental Health Grants will be distributed over a two-year period to support organizations working to improve children’s mental health. The event was presented by 44North and showcased the impactful work being done in the community to address pediatric mental health needs.
This generous grant funding will enable these organizations to continue their important work and expand their reach, ultimately benefiting countless children and families in the region.
