Nigel Hayes and Micah Potter, both former Wisconsin Badgers, were recently named to the 2024 USA Basketball select team. This team is made up of current NBA and G League players, as well as those with international experience. Hayes, who won the 2024 Turkish League Championship with Fenerbahçe Beko, has played professionally in leagues around the world, including stints with the Los Angeles Lakers, Sacramento Kings, and Toronto Raptors. Potter has been playing in the G League since 2021 with the Salt Lake Stars.

The opportunity to train alongside the 2024 USA Basketball Men’s National Team in preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris is significant for both former Badger stars as they continue to pursue their goals of returning to the NBA court.
