Catawba Science Center to Debut Exciting New Exhibit and Planetarium Show

Exploring the Final Frontier: Catawba Science Center Launches New Permanent Exhibit

The Catawba Science Center is set to launch a new exhibit on July 10th called “Expanding Horizons: The Solar System & Beyond.” This permanent exhibit, located in the Hall of Astronomy just outside the Millholland Planetarium, promises visitors an immersive experience that will transport them beyond our planet.

One of the highlights of the exhibit is a Mars pod that allows guests to get a feel for what life would be like on the red planet. Visitors will also have the chance to explore the solar system and learn about space travel. A new planetarium show, “Destination Mars,” narrated by former NASA astronaut Mae Jemison, will provide an exciting addition to the exhibit.
