Elon Musk Admits OpenAI’s GPT-4o Reveal Made Him Cringe

Elon Musk Slams OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4o: ‘Made Me Cringe’

Elon Musk, a billionaire who once founded OpenAI, has criticized the company’s latest release of its new AI model, GPT-4o. According to Musk, the bot “made me cringe” with its enhanced voice and vision capabilities that allow users to interact with it through verbal and visual communication.

Musk has been critical of OpenAI’s updates since he left the company in 2018 and raised concerns about ChatGPT having a left-leaning bias. He also deemed some responses as worrisome. In response to this criticism, Musk launched a rival AI company called xAI and launched an AI-powered chatbot to compete with ChatGPT.

In addition to his comments on OpenAI’s most recent release, Musk also mentioned that his AI chatbot, Grok, would receive a significant upgrade soon. When Business Insider reached out during non-working hours, both OpenAI and Musk declined to comment on the matter.
