Eagles Address D’Andre Swift’s 4-Yard Rush: What They Had to Say

The Eagles managed to tie the game at 7-7 after a holding penalty on D’Andre Swift’s 3-yard touchdown run. Swift went around the right end and was tackled by Chiefs safety Mike Edwards, who had a “grab and restrict” on him. The Chiefs were furious, with coach Andy Reid seeking an explanation for the missed call during the timeout.

The Eagles faced no third downs during their scoring drive, which began with a three-and-out on their first possession. Despite losing 3 yards, they went 75 yards in nine plays, with Swift gaining 33 yards on five carries and giving him seven carries for 37 yards in the first quarter. Jalen Hurts also had a 6-yard run as he contributed to the Eagles’ offense.

DeVonta Smith took advantage of Hurts’ two completions, which totaled 31 yards for him in the game so far. On the other hand, the Chiefs had accumulated 70 yards in the first quarter while the Eagles had managed only 67.
