Jonas Koch and Carolin Schiff triumph in Hegau at UCI Gravel World Series

Double Victory at UCI Gravel World Series in Germany: Carolin Schiff and Jonas Koch Take Home Top Prizes

The second round of the UCI Gravel World Series took place in Germany for 2024, and it was won by two talented riders. In the women’s race, Carolin Schiff of Canyon CLLCTV emerged victorious after a close battle with Janine Schneider of VC Singen, Embrace the World. Schiff finished with a one-second lead over Schneider. Maaike Colje of Arkea B&B Hotels finished in third place, with the only other rider within a minute of the winning time.

In the men’s race, Jonas Koch of Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe took the win with a 38-second lead over Daan Soete of Grobbendonk. Just two seconds behind Soete was Petr Vakoc of Canyon Integray L27. The new gravel race in Singen covered a distance of 136km with a course that consisted of two 52km laps and one 32km lap, including a total of 2,710m of elevation gain.

The UCI Gravel World Series offers opportunities to qualify for the UCI Gravel World Championships in Belgium on October 5-6. The top ten elite men’s results were:
