Dolphins and Odell Beckham Jr. Mutually Interested in a Reunion, But No Deal Yet Reached

Odell Beckham Jr. recently met with the Dolphins, and there is mutual interest between the two sides, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. Although talks have been positive, a deal has not yet been reached. Head coach Mike McDaniel spoke about Beckham at the annual league meeting, stating that the visit with the free-agent receiver went well. He mentioned that they made an offer to Beckham, but negotiations are taking time due to his successful career and multiple options to consider.

Beckham missed the 2022 season due to an ACL tear but returned to play 14 games with six starts in 2023. In the regular season, he had 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns, along with four receptions for 34 yards in the postseason. McDaniel expressed his readiness to coach Beckham if an agreement is reached, stating that both sides are working towards a deal and that conversations will continue.

As the No. 12 overall pick in the 2014 draft, Beckham has had a successful career with 566 receptions for 7,932 yards and 59 touchdowns in 110 games for the Giants, Browns, Rams, and Ravens. Despite injury setbacks, Beckham still has a lot of football left in him, and the Dolphins are interested in adding him to their roster.
