Discover the Wonders of Nature and Wildlife at Discovery Bay: A Free Event on the Isle of Wight

Discovery Bay, the beloved Isle of Wight event, is returning this weekend to Sandown. This unique event focuses on nature, wildlife, science, and community and is free for all to enjoy. The event is made possible through the funding of The Common Space, Hullabaloo, and Island Nature.

Guests can expect a wide range of wildlife activities and creative opportunities for all ages at Discovery Bay. It’s an excellent chance to delve into the biodiversity of the Bay and the natural world beyond. There will be a pop-up natural history museum, National Trust, National Poo Museum, Wildheart Trust, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Red Squirrel Trust, Wight Coast Fossils, Shademakers carnival artists from Hullabaloo. Additionally, there will be community sports activities to partake in.

Island Nature will also be present at Discovery Bay to gather suggestions on how to support wildlife on the Isle of Wight. This is a great opportunity for everyone to contribute to the Isle of Wight’s Local Nature Recovery Strategy. The event will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, May 18th and refreshments will be available at Browns’ new PLUTO cafe. Get ready to immerse yourself in the wonders of nature and wildlife at Discovery Bay!
