Museum of Discovery and Science Introduces new Magna-Tiles Interactive Studio

Discover the Future of Science and Engineering at Magna-Tiles Studio

The Magna-Tiles Studio, a new addition to the Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a must-see for kids interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This STEM-focused kids’ museum features five different stations that offer children a variety of educational activities.

The Magnetic Marvels station introduces visitors to the concept of magnetism, while the Colorful Discoveries station allows kids to explore the interaction between light and color. Engineering Excellence gives children a hands-on introduction to form, structure, and physics. The 3D Build Extravaganza provides an opportunity for kids to engage in building activities. The “Garage” Shop features a large magnetic garage and refrigerator door for even more interactive play.

Magna-Tiles Senior Vice President of Marketing Michael Scheffki describes the studio as a unique space designed specifically for future architects, designers, astronauts, and engineers. It is a place for children to be creative, dream, and explore new possibilities.

The Magna-Tiles Studio is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about the Magna-Tiles exhibit or to book tickets online ahead of time, visit the Magna-Tiles Studio website today!
