Detroit’s Beloved Rattlesnake Club Closes Its Doors After 36 Years Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

The Rattlesnake Club, a cherished restaurant in Detroit, has decided to permanently shut down its doors after 36 years of operation. Vice President and CFO Mark Tuttle expressed heartfelt gratitude to the loyal customers and dedicated employees who have supported the restaurant throughout the years. Despite opening in 1988, the restaurant could not recover from the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tuttle explained that changes in dining habits, decreased office occupancy, reduced traffic, and a lack of recovery from private events have all contributed to a decline in revenue since the pandemic. However, even with their unwavering dedication, they were unable to overcome the challenges posed by the pandemic.
