The Arizona Science Center is hosting the OceanX Expedition: Unveiling the Deep tonight, with extended hours from 4 to 9 p.m. This special event will connect viewers with OceanXplorer, a cutting-edge exploration vessel currently in Indonesia’s ocean depths. The live stream will feature various activities such as a tour of OceanXperience, a replica of OceanXplorer with interactive experiments, a live stream with scientists on board, and a fireside chat with Vincent Pieribone, CEO of OceanX.
One of the scientists on board for the live stream is Mattie Rodrigue, a Chandler native and the science program director at OceanX. With a Bachelor’s degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology from Arizona State University, Rodrigue brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the event.
