Columbia Business Report: City to Host Sessions on Entrepreneurship and Business Expansion

The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities is currently accepting applications for the 2024 NxLevel Microentrepreneur and 2024 FastTrac Growth Venture courses. These programs are designed to provide business owners with valuable knowledge and skills to help them achieve success in their ventures.

The NxLevel Microentrepreneur program focuses on helping business owners become self-sufficient through self-employment. In-person classes will be held at two locations from January 25th to March 7th, as well as on March 21st and March 28th, from 6 p.m. at Busby Street Community Center, located at 1735 Busby St., and on March 14th at Earlewood Park Community Center, located at 1113 Recreation Drive.

On the other hand, the FastTrac Growth Venture program is a course designed in partnership with Midlands Technical College that aims to help businesses reach their full potential through proven frameworks and processes that facilitate sustainable growth and efficient operations. In-person classes will be held from January 23rd to March 26th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Midlands Technical College Northeast Campus.
