On Sunday night, the Kansas City Chiefs won their second straight Super Bowl in overtime with a Mecole Hardman touchdown catch. The television broadcast was called by Jim Nantz and Tony Romo for CBS, while Kevin Harlan provided an epic call on the radio broadcast.

Kevin Harlan, who began his football broadcasting career as the voice of the Chiefs, was the play-by-play announcer for Westwood One Sports Radio’s Super Bowl broadcast. During the game, he was on the call for the Chiefs’ ensuing drive after San Francisco 49ers scored first to begin overtime. Harlan exclaimed “It’s caught! Hardman caught the ball! The Chiefs have won! The Chiefs have won!” as Hardman made a Super Bowl-winning touchdown pass.

Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, had several dramatic moments during the Super Bowl. From a blowup with his coach to late heroics, Kelce played an important role in leading his team to victory. Harlan also called Kelce’s plays throughout the game, adding excitement and energy to each moment.
