Turner leads team in constructing $300m engineering and science centre at Ohio university

Case Western Reserve University Awarded $300 Million Contract for State-of-the-Art Engineering and Science Building

The AKA Team, in collaboration with Turner Construction and Adrian Maldonado & Associates, has been granted a contract to construct an engineering and science building at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. This state-of-the-art facility, with a total area of 189,000 sq ft, will house wet labs, dry labs and other research spaces.

This new project is estimated to cost around $300 million and includes design, equipment and relocation work. The construction is set to begin in the near future and is expected to be completed by 2026. With this addition to its campus, Case Western Reserve University will have modern research facilities that will enable students and faculty to conduct groundbreaking research in the fields of science and engineering.

Adrian Maldonado, president of Adrian Maldonado & Associates, expressed his excitement about being part of this project. He stated that they were thrilled at the opportunity to create a cutting-edge building that would showcase the university’s academic excellence nationwide. This new engineering and science building will undoubtedly be a significant addition to Case Western Reserve University’s campus, providing much-needed modern research facilities for its students and faculty.
