New Doctors, Manojna Konda, M.D., and Vivek Yadala, M.D., Join the UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Network

Bringing World-Class Cancer Care to Little Rock and North Little Rock: UAMS Expands its Oncology Services with Two New Oncologists

In recent years, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has made significant strides in expanding its cancer services to Baptist Health locations. Two new oncologists, Manojna Konda, M.D., and Vivek Yadala, M.D., have joined the UAMS team with the goal of providing exceptional care to patients in Little Rock and North Little Rock.

Konda is a graduate of UAMS College of Medicine and specializes in medical oncology. She currently treats patients at the UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Center at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Konda is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology and is accepting new patients for appointments by calling (501) 202-4715.

Yadala is also triple board-certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He practices at the UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Center at the Baptist Health Springhill Medical Plaza in North Little Rock. Yadala completed his fellowship in hematology-oncology at UAMS and Marshall University School of Medicine. He graduated from the University Shri B. M. Patil Medical College in Bijapur, India, and is also accepting new patients for appointments by calling (501) 214-2170.

The UAMS Baptist Health Cancer Centers offer a range of medical oncology services that include enhanced infusion services and access to novel clinical trials for proton therapy.

Dr. Ahmed Abuabdou, chief medical officer for UAMS Medical Center and director of cancer services expressed excitement about the new additions to the team.

With Drs Konda and Yadala joining forces with UAMS’ existing team of experts, patients with cancer or hematological conditions can now receive outstanding compassionate clinical care across both locations.

Overall, this move signifies a commitment from UAMS to provide top-notch cancer care to people living in Little Rock, North Little Rock and surrounding areas while enhancing their quality of life during their treatment journey.
