Vernon has upgraded its respiratory equipment with the addition of cutting-edge ventilators, thanks to a generous $60,000 donation from the hospital’s auxiliary. The new equipment will provide life-saving breathing support for critically ill patients of all ages.
Trisha Barczewski, Respiratory Care Manager at the hospital, expressed her gratitude to the auxiliary for their hard work in raising funds for the purchase of the advanced ventilators. She emphasized that the new equipment will allow highly skilled Pulmonologists, Critical Care physicians, and Respiratory Therapists to provide the most advanced ventilator support to patients in need of intervention.
