Tara Berry from Topeka, Kan., recently set a new Guinness World Record for the most tattoos of the same musician on a body. Berry received 18 tattoos of Madonna on her body, breaking the previous record of 15 tattoos of Eminem.
Berry first got a Madonna tattoo in 2016 for a chance to appear in a music video but was unable to make it in time. However, her love for the pop icon continued and she decided to go for the world record title after discovering the previous record holder. She contacted her tattoo artist and started planning her next move.
The tattoos span Madonna’s entire career and include iconic images like the famous kiss she shared with Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards. Berry is frequently asked to take pictures of her tattoos and she happily obliges, showcasing her unique body art.
In total, Berry estimates that she spent over $9,800 on the tattoos. She was determined to achieve her goal and did whatever it took to move forward in the process, including borrowing money and working out payment deals. She is proud of her accomplishment and thrilled to hold the Guinness World Record title for the most tattoos of a single musician on her body.
