Bills Seize Early Advantage as Jets Struggle in Kickoff

The Bills special teams made a strong start in Sunday’s game, bouncing back from a big error in their previous match. After a devastating hit by fullback Reggie Gilliam on Jets kickoff returner Xavier Gipson, the Bills recovered a fumble at the Jets’ 21-yard-line. However, despite this takeaway, they were unable to turn it into a touchdown.

The Jets’ defensive tackle Quinnen Williams then sacked Josh Allen, forcing the Bills to settle for a Tyler Bass field goal attempt. Despite a short run and an incompletion, Bass successfully made the 48-yard field goal, giving the Bills a 3-0 lead with just 90 seconds off the clock in Buffalo.
