Ben Gurion Airport to See Millions of Passengers in Summer Months: Analyzing Online Activity During the Pandemic

In July and August of 2024, Israel’s main airport, Ben Gurion Airport, is expected to welcome approximately 3.7 million passengers. This includes 1.8 million passengers in July and 1.9 million in August. On peak days, the airport will see over 60-70 thousand passengers passing through and over 400 flights. During the summer months, Ben Gurion Airport will accommodate around 50 international airlines along with Israeli airlines, offering flights to approximately 100 destinations. Popular countries for travel include Greece, Cyprus, Italy, USA, and UAE, with over 4,250 flights to and from Greece in two months and 2,100 flights to Cyprus.
