Belarus Imposes Ban on Ararat Brandy Factory Over Quality Concerns

In a major announcement, the chief state sanitary doctor of Belarus has imposed a ban on the import and sale of products from the “Ararat Brandy Factory.” The news was shared by the press service of the regional center of hygiene, epidemiology, and public health in Gomel, as reported by TASS.

According to the message, this decision was made due to inconsistencies found in the products. Specifically, a harmful dye was detected in these items. As a result, all products from Belarus-based “Ararat Brandy Factory” LLC are now prohibited for importation, storage, transportation, sale, and use.

It’s worth noting that “Ararat Brandy Factory” is well-known for producing wine and brandy products. This cautionary measure serves as an important reminder of how strict quality control measures must be implemented in food and beverage production and distribution. The safety and health of the public are paramount in Belarus.
