Michigan to host BBC World Questions event

BBC World News Heads to Lansing, Michigan for Politically Charged Discussion

On Tuesday, June 4th, BBC World News is heading to the United States for a series of discussions in Lansing, Michigan. The program will bring together a panel of prominent politicians, opinion makers and experts to discuss some of the country’s most pressing political, economic and social issues.

Among the topics up for debate are inflation, jobs, immigration, the right to protest and the upcoming election. The program aims to provide a platform for people’s voices to be heard and their questions addressed on an international stage.

BBC presenter Anu Anand will host the event, which will take place at Lansing Center located at 33 E Michigan Ave. A reception will begin at 6:00pm and those interested in attending can register online. The event will be broadcast on BBC World Service English on Saturday 8th June and can be accessed online at www.bbc.com/worldserviceradio, BBC Sounds, and other podcast providers.
