The Texas Rangers have reached a television broadcast agreement for the 2024 season, with regional sports network Bally Sports Southwest set to produce and air 153 regular season games, plus four spring training games. Games will also be available for streaming on the Bally Sports app and at BallySports.com.
Bally Sports’ spring training coverage includes a game against the Cincinnati Reds on March 14, a World Series rematch against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 16, a game against the Seattle Mariners on March 18, and a matchup against the Boston Red Sox on March 25.
The network will begin its regular season coverage with the Rangers’ March 30 game against the Chicago Cubs at home. The team released a statement expressing their happiness to have an agreement in place with Bally Sports Southwest and their excitement for the upcoming year for the club. They also mentioned their continued work to enhance and expand how their fans will be able to view Texas Rangers baseball in the future.
Dave Raymond will return for his eighth season as lead TV play-by-play voice, and a rotation of analysts, including former Rangers players David Murphy, Mike Bacsik Jr., and Dave Valle, will help replace C.J. Nitkowski, who left the Rangers’ booth this offseason after eight years with the team. Other members of the broadcast team include Jared Sandler, Emily Jones, and Lesley McCaslin as in-game reporters.
