Aspen High School: Ranked in Top 3% of U.S. Public High Schools, Emphasizing Rigorous Academic Standards

Aspen High School has been recognized for its outstanding academic performance, ranking in the top 3% of public high schools in the United States according to the U.S. News and World Report 2024 best high school rankings. With a ranking of 534 out of 18,000 schools, Aspen High School stood out for its International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

All juniors and seniors at Aspen High School are enrolled in IB Diploma Programme coursework, emphasizing the school’s commitment to rigorous academic standards. The IB exam participation rate at Aspen High School is an impressive 98%, with 85% of students passing at least one IB exam. This high success rate contributed to the school’s overall score of 96.9 out of 100.

Principal Sarah Strassburger expressed her excitement about the school’s improved national and state rankings, attributing the success to the dedicated community of students, teachers, and families.
