Amherst County Community Health Center Nearly Completes Construction: Johnson Health Center Excited to Serve Community

The Amherst County Community Health Center is nearly complete, as reported by Johnson Health Center. This new health center in Madison Heights will offer primary care for adults and pediatrics, behavioral health services, dental care, a drive-thru pharmacy, and a wellness center with fitness equipment and a teaching kitchen. Construction of the health center began in 2023 with an anticipated opening date in early 2024.

The organization plans to employ 13 to 20 new workers once the facility is operational.
