Lakers Comeback from 19-Point Deficit, Defeat Bucks in Double OT Thriller without LeBron James

Against All Odds: Lakers’ Double-Overtime Win Without LeBron James

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off an incredible double-overtime victory against the Milwaukee Bucks without their star player LeBron James. The team was led by Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves, who played pivotal roles in leading the Lakers to a 128-124 win over the Bucks.

Davis had a standout performance, scoring 34 points, grabbing 23 rebounds, blocking four shots, stealing two balls, and dishing out two assists in 52 minutes of play. This was a career-high for him. Reaves also had an impressive game with a triple-double, contributing 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. D’Angelo Russell also chipped in with 29 points and 12 assists.

The Lakers were down by 19 points in the fourth quarter but managed to force overtime thanks to some crucial stops on potential game-winners from Damian Lillard by Davis. The Bucks ultimately fell short in the second overtime as Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled at the free-throw line.

Despite their impressive performance, the Lakers had lost twice this month without James before this win. However, they have shown resilience and talent despite his absence. The victory brought their record to 40-32 and kept them in ninth place in the Western Conference, just two games behind the Phoenix Suns for eighth place.
