The Engineer It! competition, hosted by the Cox Science Center and Aquarium, presents an excellent opportunity for students in grades 1-12 to earn money for their summer endeavors. This year marks the 37th annual event, and it is reaching out to students who are interested in participating.
Students can win $5,000 in cash and prizes by competing in three categories: elementary, middle, and high school. The competition challenges participants to create an egg container that can withstand a three-story fall, build a buoyant boat, and construct a water bottle rocket.
The deadline for registration is April 5th, so students must act quickly if they want to participate in this fast-paced competition. To learn more about how to register and other details about the event, visit the competition website.
